Patient Resources: ZERO -The End of Prostate Cancer
ZERO The End of Prostate Cancer is a national organization dedicated to advancing research, encouraging action and providing education to support men and their families.
The organization offers a number of resources, including a Prostate Cancer 101 Brochure, detailed information on detection and diagnosis and co-pay assistance. Advocates can participate in events nationwide to support research fundraising efforts.
Most recently, the group released ZERO education survey results showing that less than half of men diagnosed with prostate cancer are referred to an oncologist, an important step in learning more information about your treatment options. Additional findings revealed how patients seek information and choose treatment. The survey was the organization’s first patient education survey with the goal of better understanding the experience of those affected by prostate cancer.
