Patient Education: Cancer.net Launches New Clinical Trial Tool

Cancer.net, the website of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), recently announced that it is now providing free access to a new educational program that helps patients and their caregivers learn about clinical trials.

The video-based tool is called Preparatory Education About Clinical Trials (PRE-ACT) and is designed to improve patients’ general knowledge and attitudes about clinical trials, and prepare them for considering participation, according to a news release.
